[03/18/07] Saw 300 with my el parentos (AHA. Me and my Dad had to coerce my Mom into going. XDDDD) Frank Miller, Hot men in little Speedo things (XD), and David Wenham (In a speedo! With an eye patch! He lived through the whole movie!) in one movie? Friggin' sweet. I liked it though. The style was definatly different and interesting. Definatly reminisent of a comic book. I can see why it would get mixed reviews for that, the dialouge is very..."comic book" style, as are the shots and scenes. It seemed to be really true to the Frank Miller version though (from what I remember...I need to read 300 again.)- apart from the Gorgo-Rape-Stabbity thing, but w/e. Ahaha. I remember the ads for it in the underground. Must be better in Europe. Anyways. Got like...20 books on Sylvia Plath. And finished Runaways Vol. 2- Brian's- so I'll have to give that back... look to the sky
